Favorites and Saved Searches

When signed in to You Library Account you can not only make requests for materials you have found but also save materials for later by selecting My Favorites. You can even save the entire search results in My Favorites.

Add Item to My Favorites

1.  Sign in to Your Library Account and search for the materials you are researching. If you find an item to be saved, you can choose to do so directly from your search or within the more detailed record. 

2.  Select the Push pin icon to save an item to My Favorites either in the search list or in the detailed record. 

  • The Push pin will appear crossed out when item has been added to your favorites list. 
  • Once a record is saved it will be highlighted in yellow in any search it appears. 

3.  To see all the records that you have saved select My Favorites from the drop-down menu at the top right corner of the page. 

To Remove from My Favorites

1. Deselect the Push pin included in the record display when listed in My Favorites.

  • Please note that if you haven’t signed into Your Library Account when you visit My Favorites nothing will appear on your list. 

Save Searches

If you have found several records of interest within a search you can save the entire search results to your favorites. 

1.  At the top of the search results select the Push pin

  • A yellow banner will appear at the top of the page confirming your search has been saved.  

2.  Select the Bell in the banner if you would like to be emailed when a change occurs within the search.
