UNC Co-op Borrowing and TALA

UNC Co-op Borrowing brings together the participating libraries of the institutions of the University of North Carolina in a cooperative direct borrowing program. UNC libraries will allow access to circulating collections by the currently affiliated students, faculty and staff of all other UNC institutions.

The Triad Academic Library Association (TALA), to which UNCSA’s Library belongs, is a near aggregate of the academic libraries in our area formed to provide timely access to library materials at all member institutions. Students, faculty and staff, whose institutions belong to TALA, may borrow materials in person from all other association institutions through registration with appropriate identification.

More information about UNC Co-op and the Triad Academic Library Association borrowing can be found in our Borrow and Request Materials Guide.
