Library Resources for Graduate Students

Study Rooms

The library has 7 study rooms for student use.  The rooms seat 4 or 6 people at round tables which are hard-wired for data and power.  Each study room has a flat screen monitor for collaborative work.  The Access Services department on the first floor has cables and equipment which can be checked out for use with laptops and tablets.  Here's a full list.

The rooms are first come, first served and are located on the third floor of the library.

Floor Plans

The UNCSA Library consists of four floors with the Music and Media Collection occupying the fourth floor.  Click here for the library's floor plans.  If you need help locating material in the library, just ask a staff member.  We're always glad to help.

Scanning, Printing, Copying

The library has printer/copier/scanners on floors one, three and four of the library.  You'll use your one-card to print or copy; scanning is free.  You can print from any location on campus as long as you're on the campus network and have loaded the print program on your laptop, tablet, etc.  The IT department on campus can help you with any computing needs at their kiosk in the Administration Building, directly behind the library.

Here's a link to more information about the library's printing system.  Use the Pickle Print machine on the first floor to add money to your one-card.
