Library Resources for Graduate Students

Resource in the library with information for graduate students in Music, Design & Production, and Filmmaking

Library Website

The library's website, www.uncsa.edu/library, is the gateway to the library's resources. It has links to the online catalog, e-journals and the databases to which the library subscribes. It also has general library information like lending policies, staff and hours.  Subject guides and research information are also outlined.

Interlibrary Loan

Current faculty and students may participate in Interlibrary Loan, a program which allows the library to request materials which are not part of the library's collection.  Here's a link to the form; the Access Services staff will request the item and you'll be notified to stop by the library to pick it up. You'll also return the borrrowed item to the library.

There is usually no charge for the service but allow ample time to get the material since we are dependent on the lending library to send the material.  If there is a fee, you'll be notified before the material is requested.

Questions?  Check with the Access Services staff on the first floor.

Graduate Theses

The UNCSA Library houses the thesis collection for all graduate programs.  The library will bind two copies of your thesis; we keep one in the Reference collection and the other is housed in your arts department.  They do not circulate but are cataloged and listed in the online catalog.
