The UNCSA Library is delighted to offer access to The New York Times to all current students and faculty and staff.
To begin, click our sign up link to activate your digital pass! For detailed instructions and tips on setting up your account, visit the Setting up your account section of this guide.
A few quick things to note:
- Users will need to be on-campus (within our established IP addresses) when initially setting up their account (or going through the re-authentication process which must be completed once every 4 years). Your account will be set up using your UNCSA-issued email address and a unique password. Once set up, you should be able to access your account anywhere on any device. We do NOT use Single Sign On (but other schools do, so you will see it as an option) for NYT.
- Our access currently includes unlimited access to news articles. We do not currently offer "All-Access." If you're running into a paywall when trying to play select Games, access recipes via NYT Cooking, or read features on Wirecutter or The Athletic our subscription is functioning correctly, as these are not currently included.
- For additional archival coverage of The New York Times (1851-2021) please visit our ProQuest New York Times archive.
