Welcome to the UNCSA Library Literary Lounge! The Literary Lounge is a book club where everyone reads their own book. There's no assigned reading. All readers are welcome—ebooks, audiobooks, textbooks, comic books... it's BYOBook. Once a month readers will come together in the library to read, and socialize about books.
How does the Literary Lounge work? For 45 minutes we will silentlly read, then come together for the last 45 minutes to discuss the book we are currently reading. Everyone reads what they like. Want to just participate in the discussion thats fine too. No one has to attend the entire time, this is just to allow more people to come together.
Where: Discussions will take place on the 4th floor of the library. Feel free to read whenever you feel most comfortable in the library. Snacks will be provided.
Book Reccommendations: If you are not currently reading anything, That's okay. A display with a variety of preselected books will be available for you to checkout and read every month. Feel Free to come by the 1st floor circulation desk anytime to chat books and get reccommendations.
