On The Green Performance Sign Up

Sign up to perform HERE!

Accepting submissions for May 2025, and Fall semester 2026!

The UNCSA Library invites student performances of no more than 30 minutes in duration to be shown in the green carpeted space of the Library lobby. On the Green is open to students from all UNCSA arts schools. We encourage collaborative projects and works in process to be presented in an informal setting!

We have filled our planned performance slots for March and April (thank you to all who signed up!). If you want to perform and have availability in the first few weeks of May you can still submit the form, or reach out to brookel@uncsa.edu to discuss how we can accommodate your needs.

The Space

The performance area is an approximately 12x16 foot, publicly visible space with floor to ceiling windows facing the Library Plaza. Given the exposed nature of the space, any set-up must be kept very simple. Set-up and cleanup are the responsibility of the performer(s). Bear in mind that lighting is impossible to control. Sound amplification should be unnecessary but if you have a performance idea that will involve your own equipment, we are open to discussing your needs and options for amplification. Seating for a small audience will be available.

Proposals are due no later than 10 days before a performance. We will contact applicants no later than one week before a scheduled performance.

Questions? Please contact Christopher Bruhn (bruhnc@uncsa.edu) or Laurence Brooke (brookel@uncsa.edu).
