Request Library Instruction

We're happy to offer instruction in finding and using information resources - the resources that we have or that are widely available, effective search strategies and the basics of the research process. Sessions can be general instruction or tailored to a specific assignment.

Instruction Types

General Research Basics

Single or multiple sessions focusing on the basics of the research process; explores the use of electronic and print resources, creation of search strategies, proper citation formats and library services and support available to students. Ideal for students new to UNCSA.

Focused Reference Instruction

Single or multiple sessions focusing on the skills necessary to complete a specific assignment in any arts or academic subject area.
