Reference Sources are resources like encyclopedias, criticisms, dictionaries and atlases which generally do not circulate.  In the UNCSA Library, they are shelved on the second floor.  Use them for quick verification of facts, more in-depth research than is provided by a journal article or just to get started with brainstorming an idea.
