Search the catalog through LibrarySearch, either using a simple search or narrow down your results with an advanced search. UNCSA also has many digital resources available though our A-Z List.
It's best to start with a subject search and narrow down your search as you go, if you don't have a specific book in mind. The left side of the screen next to your search results give you the option of narrowing down your search based on resource type, subject, creation date, location, author/creator or language - multiple options under those headings can be selected or eliminated to help define your results. You can also choose whether you want to search the library catalog, articles, course reserves, or everything by selecting the option from the pull down menu near the magnifying glass in the search box.
It also may help to perform an advanced search if you know more of what you are looking for. There are options to search by date as well as other criteria, and add multiple lines of specifics to narrow down or pinpoint results.
Contact us if you have any questions regarding searching.
