Where can I view films in the library?
There is a viewing room with stations to view films on the 4th floor. It is open whenever the library is open.
I can't find a book on the shelves - what do I do?
If you are searching for a book that shows available in the catalog, but is not on the shelf, check with the Main Circulation Desk to see if it is on a sorting shelf or a book truck in advance of being returned to the stacks. If the item is still missing, fill out a hold/trace form so that we can search for the missing item. If we cannot find the item after a week of searching, we should be able to obtain a copy through Interlibrary Loan, if necessary.
How do I renew checked out material?
- Visit LIbrarySearch
- In the upper right-hand corner, select "Sign in"
- On the pop-up screen, select 'Student, Faculty, Staff Login"
- Select the arrow beside your name and then “My Loans” to get a list of items checked out
- Select the “RENEW” on the right side of the item you want to renew; the item should renew
- The next screen should show the item “renewed” in green text, with the new due date to the left
Note: Some items may say “NOT RENEWABLE”, in this case you will need to renew the item in person at the UNCSA Library Circulation Desk.
