The most recent issues of music periodicals are located on the first floor of the library. Older issues are on the fourth floor, organized in alphabetical order by title. Music periodicals are for in-library use only.

Reference Works

We have a wide variety of books of use to singers in the reference collection on the fourth floor. Look for Nico Castel's many volumes of translations and IPA transcriptions of opera libretti (Ref ML48 and Ref ML49) and additional volumes of transcriptions and translations of art songs (Ref ML54.6). We have books about opera and musical theatre (Ref ML1711-Ref ML3088) and a few reference volumes pertaining to vocal technique (Ref MT820-Ref MT955). Please note that reference works cannot be checked out of the library.
