Graduate Screenwriting

Guide for the concentration of graduate screenwriting in the School of Filmmaking

Using Library Spaces

The Library has many spaces that are conducive to filming--modern architectural settings, landscape vistas, and traditional library/learning spaces. Additionally, we have meeting rooms for auditions and castings.

In order to shoot or hold auditions/casting in the UNCSA Library and Learning Commons, you must do the following things:

  • Complete any paperwork assigned by your professor
  • Complete the On-Campus Location and Release Form
  • Meet with the University Librarian at least 2 weeks before filming (production only)

Plan at least two weeks ahead to schedule a meeting with the University Librarian. To schedule a meeting simply email or call for an appointment.

You can find more information on how to reserve library building spaces, the library plaza, and copyrighted art in the library our Film Production in the Library Guide.
