Instruction in the Library

Bring your classes to the library, or let us come to you, for instruction in finding and using information resources - the resources that we have or that are widely available, effective search strategies and the basics of the research process. Sessions can be general instruction or tailored to a specific assignment.

Course Reserves

Put print or media materials on reserve for your course, or stream Audio/Video materials through Canvas.

Request Materials

Need something we don't have? We can get it for you from another library (Interlibrary Loan) and/or add it to our collection.

Canvas: Librarian Support and Resource Integration

Add our reference librarian to your courses in Canvas for embedded support with library resources and research. Learn more about integrating library resources inside your course, including embeded streaming audio/video reserves.

Bring your classes or group into the Library for instruction, research or collaboration.

Instructional Spaces
The Library has instruction and meeting spaces for groups up to 8, 24 and 45, all of which have A/V equipment, a built-in computer and large touchscreen displays. Two seminar rooms offer either fixed seating with PCs or modular seating with laptops.

Collaborative Spaces
In addition to the spaces listed above, the library has 11 study rooms (first come, first-served) with whiteboards and 42" displays for groups of 4-6 people.

Quiet Group Study/Research Spaces
The library has groupings of tables (w/ power and network ports) at the north end of each floor (seating 22-32) and in the middle of the second floor (seating 14) with additional tables along the west windows.

The Library provides physical and electronic access to a wide range of arts and academic resources. Library resources can be located using the search tools on the library website home page or by contacting a resource specialist.
