Open Library E-Books

NC LIVE and North Carolina libraries have teamed up with Internet Archive, the San Francisco-based nonprofit responsible for projects like archive.org and the Way Back Machine, to create one web page for every book published.

Because of this collaboration, North Carolinians gain free access to borrow up to 5 e-books at a time, for 2 weeks each. North Carolina patrons are automatically logged-in, no NC LIVE password is required.  The Semans Library has contributed books to this project as have many other libraries in North Carolina.
