Historical New York Times with Index

The library is pleased to announce its online subscription to the Historical New York Times with Index.  The full-text database covers the years 1851 – 2007 with the index covering 1851 – 1993.  The link is under the heading for General Newspaper Articles on the library’s website.  The index is searchable by subject, location, person or organization.  Abstracts from the New York Times Index are included.  The library currently has the New York Times on microfilm from 1950 through 2009.  Current articles are included in the InfoTrac database, also in the General Newspaper Articles section of the website.
